Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnne Kymes is also one of the two most recent Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. Her age was just teen when she made her debut in the music world winning local competitions as early as 10 years old, and recorded her first album when she was fourteen years of age. When she was 14, she dropped her debut solo album following joining Rounder Records. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. Later, in 1989, her first solo album was released in conjunction with the band.
