Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and was the youngest of three siblings. At the age of 17, she was divorced at the time her parents separated. Additional financial problems came about when their business went bankrupt. The bulimia, anorexia and other mental disorders added to the difficulties. Gossow, who was ARCH ENIY's main singer until recently, said that she'd decided to step down. When I started in 1991, I was just beginning my journey. My enthusiasm for it was slowly slipping away. It was easier to just stop than to continue pretending. The group's initial frontman was Johan Liiva, who was later replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow. She is a Canadian-born artist who is the singer of Swedish melodic deathmetal band Arch Enemy since 2008. Prior to that, she founded The Agonist, a Canadian Metalcore group The Agonist. Arch Enemy each has their chapters that are renowned for different reasons. In a retrospective of the band, founding guitarist Michael Amott named his top three favorite songs from the trio of vocalists.
