Kari Samantha (born on April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actor and singer. Wuhrer first started her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three brothers and sisters. In her teens was a nightclub singer and would sneak out of the house to sing. After attending the Wooster School at the age of 13 She began her studies in drama. After that, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned teacher Uta Hagen. She studied with her. Her birth date was April 28, 1967 at Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is both an German American policeman, as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari has three brothers and sisters. As a teenager her nightclub performances were a highlight when she would sneak away and perform. Kari began studying acting when she was just 13 years old. She then studied drama at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Columbia University.
